About Pixie
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Meet Pixie! Say hello to a tiny 15-year-old princess with a big personality packed into a dainty 4.5 lbs frame. Pixie shines with sass and character, making every day a bit brighter. She came to her rescuers with a middle ear infection, which left her with an adorable head tilt and an endearing circular walk, but she's bouncing back remarkably well. Her little back legs can be wobbly, and her knees sometimes pop in and out, but nothing slows Pixie down—she's got plenty of spirit! A small benign tumor on her head is being monitored by her vet, and it doesn’t bother her at all. Despite her senior status, Pixie has a lot of pep in her step and isn’t shy about voicing her opinions, especially when it’s time for dinner or cuddles. She may be feisty with other dogs, but she prefers calm companions or a peaceful spot as the only pampered pet. Potty trained both outside and on a pad, Pixie is comfortable when home alone for short periods. She takes gabapentin and joint supplements daily to keep her comfortable and happy. Her dental history means she’s toothless now, only adding to her adorable expression! Pixie would thrive in a quiet home—either as a solo diva or with another mellow dog. Because of her petite, delicate legs, adult-only or homes with gentle, older children are best. She is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and has had thorough health checks, including bloodwork and a recent dental. Pixie is ready for her loving forever home! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
