About Chiquita
Chiquita is a small Chihuahua mix, about 2 years old, who has come a long way since being rescued from a large hoarding operation. She’s still extremely shy and will need a patient, gentle adopter who understands her adjustment will take time. Chiquita learns quickly and is curious about her surroundings, showing signs of being very smart. She gravitates toward small, enclosed spaces like covered beds and crates, which help her feel safe. Chiquita enjoys the company of other dogs and will thrive in a home with a confident doggy friend to show her the ropes. She’s completely house trained and goes outside for potty breaks. Her tendency to seek out little nooks also means she can be an escape artist—her adopter should ensure the home is secure. Her health is solid, and her vaccinations are current. Give Chiquita a real shot at a peaceful home where she can blossom. Your new best friend is just one click away.
