I was taken in and then the kind staff took me to the vet to be evaluated immediately. Doc discovered that I was severely anemic, and I had several bite wounds, but I have come a long way since that first day I have arrived here. When I returned, I was placed on a special diet and being fed small meals throughout the day to get the amount I needed at a slow rate. The kind staff have helped me get back to a happy healthy dog again! I have been neutered, fully vaccinated, and my preventatives are current. I did test positive for Lyme disease and have been treated with a 30-day cycle of Doxycycline. I am a little shy of strangers at first, but food and treats win me over every time.
