About Piglet Aka Piggie

Piglet, sometimes called Piggie, is a large, sturdy Pit Bull Terrier/Red Heeler mix who came to the shelter under difficult circumstances after being left in an outside kennel. He’s about 10 years old, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. Piglet has a short, smooth coat marked by crisp red and brown ticking, a strikingly large brown patch on his right side, and a face with amber eyes, a liver nose, and big floppy ears. He weighs in at 64.2 lbs and is definitely strong on leash, happiest with a brisk walk or a bit of playful mischief—photoshoots are not his favorite. Piglet is not a good fit for families with children, especially when food is around, and he absolutely cannot go to a home with cats. He can share space with some dogs as long as they respect his boundaries and don’t challenge him. His true name is Brutus, but he comes to Piglet or Piggie just as well. Piglet is ready to start fresh in a home where his limits are understood and respected. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
