About Momo
Momo has come a long way in a short time. When rescued, she was in rough shape—her eyes were painful, she was underweight, and patches of fur were missing. But Momo didn’t let hardship change her gentle spirit. After her surgery, her eyes now shine with joy and curiosity, and her coat is coming in soft and healthy. She connects easily with new people and earns the trust of everyone she meets. Momo thrives on being close—she likes to be at your side, joining in with whatever you’re up to. She needs affection, but also responds to balanced, steady routines. Her foster family has helped her gain confidence and independence while making her feel safe. She’s an eager learner, picking up “sit” on her own and going into her crate when asked. House-trained and working on her manners, Momo still gets excited and jumps occasionally, but she’s making steady progress. Social and playful, she gets along well with other dogs. Her play style adapts depending on her buddy, and she genuinely enjoys canine company. Her energy is lively but balanced by her desire to connect with people. Momo’s ideal home is a house with a yard, with adults or teenagers who can give her the structure and consistency she absorbs so quickly. She’ll need ongoing positive training as she grows into her full potential. If you’re looking for a loyal, resilient sidekick ready for a fresh chapter, Momo is waiting in Austin, TX.
