About Miss Juliet
Miss Juliet has been surviving on her own as a stray since at least June. For months, she wandered the same area, moving from spot to spot, doing what moms do-trying to keep going. A good samaritan noticed she looked pregnant and spent time tracking her movements, hoping to find answers. We believe she likely had a litter hidden in the woods but sadly those babies are nowhere to be found and likely didn't make it. What we do know is this: she's safe now thanks to the good samaritan that can keep her temporarily while we try to find help. Despite everything she's endured, she is absolutely amazing. The moment she realized she was safe, she melted-instantly a pile of mushy sweetness, leaning in for pets like she's been waiting months for someone to finally be kind to her. After all that time alone, she still trusts. She still loves. She still wants to be close to people. It's honestly heartbreaking and beautiful all at once. She's doing incredibly well considering how long she was on her own, and a foster home-not a kennel-is what will help her continue to heal. A kennel could cause her to shut down or regress, and she deserves so much more than that after everything she's survived. If you can open your home-and your heart-to this deserving momma, please step up. Let her story finally turn into the happy chapter she's been waiting for.
