About Cashy Boy

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Cashy Boy, a spirited and resilient 3-year-old tripod who weighs about 55 pounds. His three legs don’t slow him down in the slightest—in fact, he thrives on running, playing fetch, and chasing games. Fetch and herding balls are his absolute favorites! With his looks and herding instincts, he may be an Australian Cattle Dog mix, and he would love a home with ample acreage or a fenced-in yard (even a short fence will do) to play in. Cashy Boy is great with same-size or larger female dogs, but not suited to homes with small dogs due to his enthusiastic play style. His compatibility with male dogs and cats isn’t known, so a careful introduction would be needed. He’s best matched to homes with older children, and he’s quick to exchange pets, hugs, and kisses when you walk through the door. Cashy Boy is a devoted cuddler and prefers to sleep with his people, though he’ll settle into his kennel for a treat. Recently, Cashy Boy completed a 12-week Puppies for Parole training program, mastering basic obedience and social skills. He knows several commands and has earned his good canine citizen honor, making him a great companion for an active household. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
