Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Tony, a very sweet senior Boston Terrier who is about 13 years old and weighs around 27 lbs. Tony lost his owner but has found comfort with Mostly Mutts, where he is currently thriving in a loving foster home. He has shown tremendous resilience through eye removal and neuter surgery, handling everything with a loving spirit thanks to support from The Grey Muzzle Organization. Tony enjoys the company of other dogs and has easily adapted to sharing space, though he does try to sneak food from the bowls of others at mealtimes! He tends to ignore cats but would probably investigate their food, too. When it comes to children, Tony has done very well with respectful kids in his foster home, but he’d do best in a family where any children are old enough to understand his limited sight and hearing. Described as an "absolute lovebug," Tony adores being close to his people and will happily follow you around throughout the day. Though he will vocalize when left alone, he isn't destructive and simply craves companionship. Tony would be happiest with a stay-at-home or work-from-home adopter, as he thrives in an environment with constant love and attention. Despite his senior age and disabilities, Tony still finds joy in gentle play and sniffing around the garden. Due to his deafness, Tony responds to hand gestures and has never needed to be crated. He does well with his potty schedule and will even go to the door when he needs to go out, though his foster is helping him work on some minor marking indoors. Tony loves snuggles, comfortable dog beds, food, and being part of daily life. Medically, he is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and just needs regular joint supplements due to his age. Tony’s perfect family will cherish his golden years, offering him a peaceful home, plenty of affection, and lots of love.
