About Tony
Tony is a 13-year-old Boston Terrier who ended up at Mostly Mutts after his previous owner passed away. He’s currently loving life in a foster home but is ready to settle in with a new family. Tony recently underwent bloodwork for his eye removal and neuter surgery, which went well. He’s a sweet, adaptable guy known for his gentle nature and is particularly great with both other dogs and visiting children, as long as they respect his hearing and vision limitations. Feeding time should be supervised, since he's always interested in extra snacks from his companions' bowls, both dog and cat! Tony has learned how to navigate life as a mostly deaf and partially sighted senior—he follows hand gestures and does just fine using the door to communicate when he needs to go outside. He has gentle bursts of playfulness, but mostly enjoys quiet companionship and hanging near his person, ideally someone who’s home much of the day. While he’s not a fan of being alone, Tony is well-behaved in the house and appreciates simple joys like gardening strolls and a comfy bed nearby. His health is managed with annual vaccinations, microchipping, and joint supplements, and he gets by with just a few remaining teeth. He’ll thrive with a home ready to cherish a senior, especially one that recognizes the extra attention his special needs require. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
