About Jordy

Jordy is a 2.5-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer and Pittie mix with a tan, short coat. He’s about 60 pounds and house trained, as well as kennel trained, and has done just fine when left unkenneled at home. He’s friendly with other dogs of all sizes and would really thrive with a playful canine buddy. Because of his energy and size, older kids are a better fit, while very young kids might get knocked over. Jordy hasn’t lived with cats and doesn’t react well to them in the neighborhood, so a cat-free home is best. He’s a happy, active guy who is always ready for a walk, but just as happy to curl up and snuggle after playtime. Food is a big motivator for him—ice cubes are an unexpected favorite treat—and he eats quickly, so a slow feeder is best. Jordy is working on his leash skills and would enjoy a fenced yard (preferably a 6-ft privacy fence) for safe outdoor play. He’s up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. No special needs or medications required. Jordy’s ready to find a family who’ll give him the love, fun, and structure he craves. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
