About Oreo
Oreo is a two-year-old, energetic Pointer/Pit Bull mix weighing in around 50 lbs, on the lookout for his forever home in Oklahoma City, OK. Quick to win you over and just as fast to try sneaking off with whatever he can grab, Oreo has a knack for mischief that will keep you on your toes. He’s obsessed with chew toys, has a special weakness for squeaky ones, and will happily drench a room if given access to a big bowl of water—he’s happiest splashing around, and would have a blast with a kiddie pool or a lake day. Oreo prefers to nap in cool, dark spots and though his play growls sound intense, they come from excitement, not aggression. He’s both house and kennel trained, very food motivated, and picking up his basic commands quickly. Oreo mixes well with other dogs of all types and sizes, and though he’s only been around older kids, he’s gentle by nature and likely to do fine with younger ones as well. Cats are still a question mark. He does guard his meals, so separate feeding works best if you have another dog. A fun-loving family who’d include him on their adventures—with extra points for water play—will see him at his best. Oreo is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Ready to fall in love?
