About Frankie
Meet Frankie, a one-year-old Chow/Husky mix weighing in at 60 lbs, who’s looking to settle into his forever home. Frankie is a sharp pup—quick to learn and genuinely sweet, but keeps a laid-back attitude around the house. He gets along well with other dogs and has been around cats too. When it comes to cats, he's gently curious and sometimes a little wounded when a swat comes his way, so a home with cats who know dogs would fit best. Frankie hasn’t lived with kids, but he’s done just fine with respectful children he’s met in passing. Frankie is shy at first with new people and definitely prefers women, so a women-only home would be best for his comfort. He’s known for his floppy zoomies—even if they don’t last long—and recovers with a good nap. Frankie is crate trained, house trained, and working on his leash skills, plus he’s a champion on road trips. He enjoys outside time and really needs a fenced yard, ideally something he can’t climb, as chain link is no match for his athleticism. Frankie would thrive with patient people who can help him settle and continue to grow into his best self. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
