About Raven

Raven is a striking, three-year-old Border Collie/Labrador mix with a jet black coat. She’s spent time in a local shelter before arriving at her current rescue. Bright and eager, she picks up on commands quickly and has already completed a puppy training course—though ongoing training is recommended to keep her mind sharp. Raven thrives on activity and needs an adopter who matches her energy level with regular exercise and mental stimulation. She’s crate, house, and leash trained, so the basics are covered. With strangers, particularly in public, Raven can be wary and may bark. Give her time to settle at home, though, and her affectionate, playful self emerges. She mixes well with other dogs in playgroups, and in her last foster home Raven did wonderfully with children. Cats aren’t a fit for her high energy, so a feline-free home is best. Raven is also protective, making her a natural watchdog. She is spayed, up to date on shots, and microchipped. Her new home will need a solid stockade fence, and a home check is required. If you're looking to foster-to-adopt, Raven is eligible for that too. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
