Penelope. Age: 6 years as of 11/2024 Penelope was found in Irvington. She was seen crossing a very busy intersection and disappeared into an abandoned house. After breaking into the house, Penelope was found with one lone kitten, Sage. Sadly, Sage contracted a severe upper respiratory infection and passed away. Now Penelope has a chance to be safe and live a comfortable life indoors! Penelope is a sweet thing, starving for attention. She was so skinny and malnourished when she first came to foster care, but she has put on great weight and is thriving! While she loves attention from people, she is still quite shy around other cats. She isn't necessarily violent or opposed to their presence, but she would require and benefit from slow proper introductions. Penelope is FIV/FELV (-), up to date on vaccines, and spayed.
