About Guy
Guy Sweetland was born on June 14, 2023, making him a Gemini—a sign known for curiosity and adaptability. His early days were tumultuous: he and his mother were nearly tossed out, but a dedicated foster stepped in just in time. Soon after, their small family grew as his mama surprised everyone with six kittens. Guy, also known as Shy Guy, is named after a beloved detective series character and fits the role of the reserved but loving companion perfectly. Though shy at first, Guy quickly warms up to gentle attention. He'll happily curl up in a lap, purring for hours, but he’ll need a patient family to help him settle into new environments. He’s well socialized: Guy has lived with siblings, senior cats, a Cane Corso, and a playful Jack Chi, and is comfortable in a noisy, active home. His caregivers believe he’ll flourish as an only cat or with one of his siblings, and he'd likely enjoy the company of a dog. Guy gets along well with dogs, cats, and children. His personality shines most in a smaller, calmer household, where he won’t have to compete for affection. Guy is neutered, current on all vaccines, and FIV/FELV negative.
