Though she boasts a strong physique, don't be fooled; she's more of a couch potato than an athlete, preferring to relax beside her people rather than run marathons. Fully trained in all the basics like come, sit, down, stay, and heel, Canela has accompanied her foster team on many public outings and has always been a joy to work with. She's attentive, eager to please, and very food-motivated—a perfect combination for continued training or new adventures. Canela joined us after being surrendered due to a conflict with another dog in her previous home. While we take this history seriously, she has proven to be calm and easygoing, showing none of the significant dog aggression we anticipated. However, we believe she would thrive as the only dog in the home or in the care of an experienced adopter who can introduce her slowly to other dogs.
