About Tate
Let’s make it official, apply to adopt! Meet Tate, your next adventure buddy! Tate is a toy-loving, people-pleasing, energetic pup who’s ready to keep you smiling and on your toes. He absolutely adores both dogs and people, showing lots of affection, especially towards women and teens (especially those with snacks!). While Tate can get nervous around raised voices, he quickly recovers with wagging tails and a loving attitude. He’s house-trained, crate-trained (and loves his cozy den), knows how to "sit," and rides calmly in the car. Toys of all types—chew, squeaky, you name it—bring him pure joy, and he can play for hours. Wrestles with his lab buddy, water hose games, and splashing in the bath are among his favorite activities. Being very food-motivated, Tate is eager to learn and makes training easy and fun. Tate will thrive in an active home with adults or older kids who want a playful, loyal companion for walks, hikes, and playtime. He’s a bit much for small children or senior dogs due to his enthusiastic play style, so he’s best suited to a lively home with plenty of room for activity. His friendly nature makes him excited to meet other dogs, and his future family should be ready to continue his training. Fun fact: Tate was born on January 21, making him an Aquarius—known for their spirited and outgoing personalities! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
