From foster parent 11/10/25: My third foster dog is Melbourne, aka Zorro Bandit. He, of course, has that classic white dog with a perfect black mask look, which inspired his name in part. The other part of his name, "Bandit," actually came naturally because I always say he is a love bandit, always trying to find a way to steal cuddles and snuggles and begging for your affection! He loves to play and have you bounce his Kong toy for him to chase. He is dog-friendly but does need to learn how to share his toys, so that is something he would need your help with if you have more than one dog! He has also only been with female dogs, so I know he loves the ladies but may not be as willing to live with another male. He likes being the man of the house, that's for sure. He would love to chase the water as you water the lawn, and he doesn't even mind on a hot summer day if you squirt him as well. He is a great car rider, and he loves going with you! This guy wants to be your best friend for real-no matter where you go, this guy wants to be right by your side! He has enough energy to go for walks with you, and he would probably even like the outdoors with you. He could be happy in an apartment with an active family member or in a house with a yard for him to run and play. He loves bones and is very motivated by treats and food, and he knows quite a few tricks already. He is a smart boy, and he would love to learn any tricks you want to teach him! If this sounds like the best friend you have been looking for, then Zorro is your boy! He would love to meet you! On 10/22/24 Melbourne attended playgroup. He was high energy and initially seemed friendly and social. He was often hormone driven and did not listen to corrections from handlers or other dogs. Eventually he attacked after an appropriate correction. He was taken back inside and was reported to be fence fighting the walk back.
