Meet Serenity! 🐾 This remarkable girl has spent more than four long years without a home, and let me tell you, she is ready for a fresh start! You see, Serenity was discovered back in June of 2019 at a local boarding facility, where she’d been sadly abandoned by another rescue for over two years. Can you believe that? 😔 But fear not! Our hearts couldn’t let her stay in that lonely crate, so we rescued her and moved her to a wonderful boarding facility where she got the love, exercise, and socializing she so deserved. After a full year in boarding, she has blossomed like a flower in spring! 🌼 Originally, Serenity came to us weighing a bit too much and battling heartworm. With time, training, and all the love one could give, she is now heartworm negative and has transformed into the healthy pup she is today! This lovely lady has made amazing strides; however, she does have a touch of separation anxiety that's much improved. Ideally, she would thrive in a home where her humans are around more often than not. 🏡 Now, here’s the scoop: Serenity prefers to be an only dog, yet she has formed friendships with other chill pups. However, small animals? Those aren’t her jam—she needs her space! This beauty is looking for a caring and dedicated handler who will keep up with the training she has received and ensure that walks are a mindful adventure. You won’t believe the joy she brings! Car rides? She loves ‘em! Kisses? Yes, please! And naps? Let's just say she’s quite the professional napper, often snoozing with her tongue peeking out and snoring like a teddy bear! 😴🐻 And while she loves her tranquility, watch out for the sploot!
