About Serenity
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Serenity has been searching for a loving home for over four years! Discovered in June 2019 after being abandoned by a previous rescue, she endured life in a crate until she was given a safe space to exercise and socialize. Serenity spent a year in boarding before finding a foster who provided her with the care and attention she desperately needed. During her time in foster care, Serenity transformed her health—she worked hard to lose extra weight and is now healthy and heartworm negative. Through consistent training and lots of love, she’s become a much more confident and well-mannered girl. Serenity still experiences some separation anxiety but has made significant progress. She would thrive in a home where her humans are home often. While Serenity prefers to be the only dog, she has connected with calm dogs who match her laid-back energy, but isn’t suited for homes with small pets or animals. She needs a strong, patient handler willing to reinforce her training and be mindful during walks. Serenity adores car rides, giving kisses, and long naps. She has a playful spirit—she’ll lie in your path and gaze up at you expectantly, and you’ll love her little quirks like snoring and sleeping with her tongue out. Loyal, sweet, and deeply deserving, Serenity can’t wait to find her forever family. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
