About Gunner

Meet Gunner! He’s a big, playful Pit Bull Terrier at just under 4 years old, now ready for his new home in Plano, TX. Gunner has a short gray coat and a gentle way about him. He lives for good belly rubs, stretching out with his people after a playful romp, and sunning himself outdoors—though he’s very much an inside dog at heart. At 78 pounds, Gunner does best with big kids due to his size and playful energy. Though crate trained and perfectly house trained, he’d rather be hanging out on the couch with his family. Gunner is cautious with other dogs—he’ll need very slow introductions at home, and a confident handler for walks since he can get worked up when meeting new dogs on leash. No cats for this guy, but after a traumatic ear injury as a stray, he’s been nursed back to health and given a ton of love in foster care. Gunner is neutered, microchipped, and fully up to date on shots. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
