Waylon already knows his basic commands like sit, down, paw, and fetch, and he’ll shine with an adopter who enjoys reinforcing those skills. He’s a stellar travel companion who adores car rides, and he’s currently living the good life in a rural setting. Whether it’s hanging out with horses and large animals or watching farm equipment go by, Waylon is unfazed and fits right in. He’d love a large dog friend who enjoys rough-and-tumble play, but a home without cats or small animals is needed due to his prey drive. He makes friends with everyone at open house meet-and-greets, though he can be cautious with unfamiliar men, warming up quickly—especially if treats are involved. Waylon has been wonderful with children, but because he’s a big boy, older kids are the best match.
