About Waylon
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Get ready to be charmed by Waylon, a happy-go-lucky pup bursting with joy! If a true partnership with a devoted and intelligent dog is what you're after, look no further. Waylon is around 5 to 6 years old and completely attuned to his person—he’ll keep you in sight and lean on you for guidance. His zest for daily adventure is unmatched, thriving with daily exercise and off-leash runs where he stays close by and responds when called. Leash walks are a breeze with him, too. Waylon already knows his basic commands like sit, down, paw, and fetch, and he’ll shine with an adopter who enjoys reinforcing those skills. He’s a stellar travel companion who adores car rides, and he’s currently living the good life in a rural setting. Whether it’s hanging out with horses and large animals or watching farm equipment go by, Waylon is unfazed and fits right in. He’d love a large dog friend who enjoys rough-and-tumble play, but a home without cats or small animals is needed due to his prey drive. He makes friends with everyone at open house meet-and-greets, though he can be cautious with unfamiliar men, warming up quickly—especially if treats are involved. Waylon has been wonderful with children, but because he’s a big boy, older kids are the best match. Ideally, his new family can offer a large property, but at minimum he needs a spacious, securely fenced yard for off-leash play. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
