About Luther
Click apply to start the adoption process. Luther is a resilient and gentle shepherd mix whose journey to safety began in the summer of 2024, thanks to the amazing support from the community. Initially found injured and wary of people and leashes, Luther was living dangerously close to a busy country road, showing no fear of cars. With patience and kindness, he was gradually enticed away from harm and into a safer, caring environment. Though his early days in rescue were challenging, Luther has blossomed into a sensitive and loving companion. He may be shy at first, but once he trusts you, he's a true sweetheart who enjoys giving hugs, playing calmly with plush toys, and snuggling up. Luther is now both housebroken and crate-trained. He has charmed everyone with his friendliness toward cats, dogs, and even horses! His old leg injury from what is believed to be a past car accident only occasionally bothers him and does not require further medical care. Now neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and fully up to date on all his health needs, Luther is ready for his loving forever home. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
