About Reno
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Reno was lovingly found as a stray by one of our former adopters, who immediately ensured his medical needs were addressed, including heartworm treatment and removal of a mass cell tumor. Despite being an ideal companion for their dogs and children, Reno’s strong prey drive made him incompatible with the household cat, prompting the difficult decision to ensure everyone’s safety by letting him join us at Mercy. This sweet senior is a joy to have around. Reno is deeply loyal and affectionate, fully house trained, kennel trained, and only vocalizes when he needs something important. He gets along beautifully with both people and other dogs, exhibiting obedience and warmth in every interaction. Reno is now neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives, and his tumor has not returned in six months. He’s patiently waiting in his kennel for a family to fall in love with him and offer the loving home he deserves. Although based in Tulsa, OK, Reno can be adopted anywhere in the United States. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
