About Zz Roxy~courtesy
Roxy (or Rox, but she really perks up for ROXER!) is a senior Boxer/Lab mix who landed in rescue after her owner of more than a decade was ready to give her up. She’s about 13 or 14 and truly just needs someone steady who wants a loving companion. There’s a non-cancerous growth on her leg that leaves her with a limp, but it doesn’t get in the way of her big energy when she’s feeling playful. Roxy enjoys affection—she’s the kind of dog who’ll lean in for cuddles and never turns down a treat. She grew up around other dogs, cats, and kids, and she’d do well in a home with other older or calm dogs. She’s housebroken, spayed, and up to date on all her vaccinations. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate friend who still likes to play but really wants your company, Roxy could be a perfect match. She’s in Utica, MI and waiting for someone with a big heart.
