Twinkles is a 6 year old female Shihtzu. She is a sweet, well-mannered, loving dog with women. She was owner surrendered and originally came from a breeder. She is somewhat shy with new dogs, but can be quite assertive once she knows them. She can be a feisty, confident girl.. We have changed her status to special needs, not because of any medical issue, but because of her fear of other dogs. There has been a lot of interest in Twinkles, but it is from folks who want a perfect dog who likes other dogs. Twinkles is afraid of them, but when she realizes they won't hurt her, she can become too dominant.
