About Tater

Tater is a 12lb, 3-year-old Boston Terrier/Chihuahua mix, sometimes lovingly called a Boston-wawa. She’s a short-coated, brown and white bundle of happiness who adores being around people and other dogs her size. Bring out the leash, and Tater lights up—she thrives on walks and enjoys every moment in a car ride. She has a playful streak, often running around and joining in games with dog friends, but above all, Tater just wants to be held and loves giving kisses to show affection. Tater lives with some nerve damage in her back end, which gives her walk a funny little wobble. Still, it doesn’t slow her down. She can pee on her own, though sometimes she dribbles without realizing, and her bladder is expressed once in a while to prevent infections. Since coming into care, she’s bounced back from early troubles like infections and diaper rash, and she’s now in great health. Tater is fully house trained, gets along with dogs, cats, and kids, and is spayed and vaccinated. She’s looking for a home where she can keep being her loving, silly self.
