About Sheldon
Sheldon is part of a bonded pair with Cayenne, and they need to stick together when adopted. Heās a shy, sweet-tempered cat who needs time and space to get comfortable with new people and places. If youāre patient and gentle, heāll slowly reveal his loving, affectionate side. He loves toysāspring toys are a favorite, and youāll find him batting them across the room or carrying them around. He enjoys the company of other cats and will happily chase a wand toy with you. Wet food and churro-style cat treats are the keys to his heart. Sheldon spends his days perched on tall cat towers, tucked into hammock beds, or hidden deep in blanket forts where he feels safe. He loves pets and cuddles once he trusts you, but at his own pace and on his terms. Nail trims are a work in progress; itās best to try while heās napping. While Sheldon isnāt a cat who likes to be held, he will tolerate gentle pick-ups once heās bonded to you. Heās sensitive to loud noises and commotion, so he needs a calm, quiet homeāno young kids, please. He may take a while to trust men and will need slow, proper introductions. Sheldonās foster sings his praises and says heās a joy to have around. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative. Sheldon is ready for a patient home where he and Cayenne can thrive together. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
