About Jerzy
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Jerzy is a beautiful brindle and white adult female Mountain Cur, estimated to be around 6 years old, and the perfect medium size at approximately 45 pounds. With delicate features and thin legs, her sweet face tells a story of resilience—she underwent surgery in early 2025 to remove one eye due to glaucoma, but has recovered wonderfully and lives comfortably. While she may be slow to warm up, your patience will be greatly rewarded as Jerzy reveals her goofy and clever personality. She thrives in a calm, child-free environment and is looking for a home without cats. A daily walking partner would be ideal, as Jerzy walks well on a leash and loves to stay active. She may enjoy the company of an easy-going, medium-sized male dog, and a secure yard would be a wonderful bonus. Jerzy is exceptionally bright, having already mastered her basic skills and moving on to trick training. Her adoption fee covers her spay, microchip, current vaccinations, preventatives, and a complimentary basic training course at Cedar Run Company in Hiawatha. To meet Jerzy, submit an adoption application for consideration. Last Hope Animal Rescue requires a history of responsible pet ownership, including keeping animals altered, as indoor pets, and current on vaccinations. Their process also includes a vet history check and a home visit. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
