About Chase
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Chase is an impressively smart and handsome young dog with a beautiful dilute coat reminiscent of a Weimaraner. At almost one year old, he’s a good-sized, large pup with a playful personality, thriving when bouncing after balls or tossing around his favorite chew toys. Though big and athletic, Chase is polite on the leash and has mastered walking with a gentle leader, earning praise for quickly picking up new training skills. His long, athletic legs make him an ideal candidate for a home with a fenced yard (over 4 feet tall) where he can run and play safely. Chase has done well in dog daycare and enjoys supervised introductions with other friendly dogs of a similar size. While he hasn’t met cats, he is suited for an experienced dog family who wants a social companion that loves both action and affection—and who doesn’t mind a big dog who thinks he’s a lap dog! Chase’s adoption fee includes his neuter, microchip, all current vaccines, monthly preventatives, and even a complimentary basic training class at Cedar Run Company in Hiawatha. He is looking for an indoor-only home where adopters have a history of keeping their pets altered and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. The adoption process involves a vet history check and a home visit. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
