About Timmy

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Surgery done to repair broken elbow and FHO on left hip.Timmy’s story is one of resilience, healing, and hope. Now just a year old, this handsome pup came into rescue as a tiny puppy after enduring unthinkable cruelty at the hands of his owner that left him with a severely broken front elbow and damage to his left hip. Thanks to proper care (and justice being served), Timmy got the second chance he deserved. Much of his early life was spent confined while his fragile bones healed, but through it all, Timmy showed incredible strength and determination. Today, he’s left those painful days behind and is blossoming into a playful, curious young dog who’s eager to experience all the joys he missed out on as a pup! Timmy has worked hard to overcome his past and continues to grow more confident every day. He is regaining strength in his young body and will thrive with a continued active lifestyle that offers moderate exercise for his repaired hip joint. A fenced in yard will be great, but leash walking will also be great for Timmy! Because of his past, he’ll thrive best with a patient, understanding adopter who can offer him a stable environment and give him the time he needs to settle in. Once he bonds with you, Timmy’s loyalty and sweetness truly shine and he's a friend for life! He’s now discovering how fun it is to play and enjoys spending time with other dogs, learning valuable social skills along the way. However, we do feel that Timmy would do best in a home without small animals or young children. Timmy has come so far and has so much love to give, he just needs the right person to join him on his journey! If you’re looking for a devoted companion and are willing to give him the loving home he deserves, Timmy might just be your perfect match. If you would like to meet Timmy, please submit an adoption application through our website, Adopthope.org. Last Hope requires that adopters have a history of having kept any previous pets altered, as indoor pets only and kept current on annual vet visits and vaccines. Our adoption process includes a vet history check and a home visit.
