Eggo is an easygoing guy with just the right balance of playful energy and a laid-back attitude. He weighs about 57lbs and is a young German Shepherd/Labrador mix with a medium-length coat. Eggo needs moderate daily exercise, but he also loves to relax after some activity. He has the basics down—he’ll sit and shake for a treat and takes snacks gently. Sometimes, he'll pull a bit on leash, but he’s learning better manners as he goes. Eggo is especially motivated by treats and toys (he loves stuffies, balls, and nylabones). He has a resilient spirit—having recovered from a serious injury, he’ll still need regular vet check-ins just to make sure he stays healthy. Eggo can be a bit mouthy when left alone, so he was working on his crate training in the shelter and will need a patient home used to helping dogs build confidence. Experience with dogs is a must for his next home. He doesn’t get along with cats or small animals, so those should be avoided. He enjoys time with people and wants to meet any resident dogs before moving in. Eggo has a gentle side and genuinely enjoys human company.
