Are you my new forever home? My name is Duke. I am a 16-year-old Chiweenie that requires a home to live out my golden years in comfort and security. I am looking for a family that is not too active and will allow me to hang out on their lap and watch TV or nap. My dad recently passed away, and I stayed with his neighbor for 6 weeks before coming to Patient Pet Advocates. I am with a really wonderful Foster family. There is a big dog there, and we get along very well. If you have a chill dog, that should be no problem for me. I like to go on short walks and sniff everything in sight. I am mostly potty-trained, but sometimes I can't wait and have had a few accidents. I can be a bit shy at first, but once I get to know you, we will be besties for life. I am mostly blind but can get around pretty well. I do have some arthritis in my back legs, so I would need help if there are any stairs involved. I am neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
