About Gomez
Gomez is a 1-year-old, small Chihuahua mix with a short, soft blond coat and a big heart for people. He wants to be near his person as much as possible, coming in close for spooning or curling up with you under a pile of blankets. Pick him up, wear him in a carrier, invite him to be your copilot—he’s all in. Gomez is known for gentle kisses and loves to make himself comfy snuggled right into a neck or lap. He’s house trained and crate trained, but much prefers company; if you’re nearby, he’s not keen on staying in the crate. New places make him nervous, especially if he finds himself alone, so a patient adopter with a secure home setup (solid fences, no escape routes, and proper crating when alone) is a must. Once settled, he bonds tightly and finds his confidence. Gomez gets along well with other dogs and cats, but truly thrives with attentive humans. The rescue recommends his adopters live in the Eugene/Springfield, Oregon area so his foster can support the transition, if needed. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
