He fits best with a person or family who can be with him most of the day—someone who works from home or travels and wants a loyal, portable friend. Lightening gets along with other dogs but mostly just tolerates them; they aren’t his best pals. He can show some food aggression, so he's kenneled for mealtimes for everyone's safety.
