He’s one of the smartest, sweetest husky mixes we’ve ever met, and from the moment you meet him, you can feel just how special he is. This incredible boy found himself surrendered to a high‑kill shelter in Texas when his owner could no longer care for him and was unable to find him a new home. Sadly, at shelters like this one, owner surrenders are often the first to be euthanized. We had to act fast—because Lucky is simply too amazing to lose. And amazing he truly is. Lucky already knows his commands—right and left, sit, shake, and down—and proudly shows them off. He walks beautifully on a leash and is fully house‑trained, crate‑trained, and leash‑trained. At 5 years old, he’s the perfect blend of calm, confident, and playful. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, heartworm negative, and ready to start his next chapter. Lucky adores kids, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and has a loving, social nature that makes him easy to fall in love with. He’s intelligent, gentle, and incredibly affectionate—a dog who bonds deeply and gives his whole heart. This sweet boy is trying so hard to stay hopeful.
