Rookie had a family who loved him, but he was spending way too much time alone and was terribly bored. We can see why – Rookie loves to be busy and in the thick of things. He loves running and playing in the big yards with his toys and newly-acquired doggy friends. Although we have not yet seen him in the company of kids, we were told that he gets along great with little humans and even cats. Rookie loves his treats and toys, and is responding very well to his obedience training. Caregivers are working with him on his leash skills but he is such a people-pleasing, enthusiastic guy that we know he will ace this in no time at all.
