About Sadie

Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Sadie is a sweet-natured Boxer who strikes a perfect balance between being affectionate indoors and adventuring outdoors. At 8 years old and about 50 pounds, she is ready for a moderately active home—individuals, couples, or families would all be a good match, but Sadie truly shines as the only pet. She adores lounging on the couch, napping on the porch, playful backyard sessions, and leisurely neighborhood strolls. Ask her about going outside and she’ll spin in happy circles, her excitement obvious in an adorable little whine. Sadie is wonderful with kids, having bonded easily with both her foster’s young teen and a kindergarten-aged neighbor. She likes to approach new people slowly, needing just a moment to settle before she’s ready to become your loyal companion. Sadie is house trained and leash trained, and while she knows her crate, she prefers her freedom and has proven trustworthy free-roaming for up to four hours. Her foster works from home, giving her regular outdoor breaks throughout the day. On walks, Sadie may act protective, sometimes barking or growling at people passing by, but she is learning to feel more relaxed in these moments. With a few missing teeth, she enjoys her kibble softened with water in three small meals daily, keeping her feeling her best. Since she can fixate on squirrels, cats, and some dogs, Sadie’s ideal home will have a secure, tall privacy fence so she can safely explore. If you’re searching for a loving companion who would thrive as the center of your world, Sadie could be the one for you. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
