About Frankie
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Frankie is an 86-pound lap dog who doesn't quite realize just how much space she occupies! With her playful, affectionate, and goofy demeanor, she absolutely loves people and happily carries her favorite toys around as she moves between the dog yards. Frankie became homeless along with her canine companion, and while she was a wonderful housemate to that dog, she is not comfortable with other dogs or any cats. Because of this, Frankie must be the only pet in her future home, and adopters must have a secure, intact fence to keep her safe as she is prone to chasing other animals if not contained. Her bright and alert personality makes her a great watch dog—she lets you know when anyone arrives! While Frankie isn't aggressive towards children, her large and exuberant nature could be overwhelming for little ones. She enjoys both male and female adults, follows simple commands, and is fully house trained. Despite her lively ways, she has no special dietary needs and manages various foods with ease, and she has no health issues to note. Frankie is a lovely brindle girl, about four years old, already spayed, and up to date on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. Interested adopters must be 21 years or older, and the shelter only adopts within a 50-mile radius to ensure support if an animal needs to return. Consider scheduling an appointment to discover if Frankie would be the perfect fit for your home. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
