About Chili
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Chili! She’s a true character—the certified house hippo with an adventurous heart. After a tough beginning as a stray, having faced possible neglect and abandonment, Chili’s spirit has only grown stronger thanks to the care of a kind couple in LA dedicated to nursing her back to health for a loving new home. Chili is remarkably well-mannered: she’s housebroken, crate trained, and contentedly sleeps through the night. Each morning, she’ll show off her happy dance, politely waits for meals, and delights as the ultimate snuggle buddy. She’s lively and enthusiastic, eager for walks, and easily redirected when excitement takes over—especially with treats, as food is her ultimate motivator, though she’s always polite at mealtimes. While new people may require a bit of patience as Chili comes out of her shell, her loyalty shines once trust is built. She’s affectionate, curious, playful, and great at communicating her needs, plus she has shown wonderful interactions with children. Whether curled up on the couch, exploring the beach, or enjoying a ride in the car, Chili is happiest with her people by her side. She’s a fantastic companion just looking for a forever best friend to call her own. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
