Mattie is a 6-year-old sweetheart with the softest eyes and the gentlest soul. After being left behind when his previous owners moved (we know!), a kind neighbor named Emily took him under her wing and made sure he got the care he deserved. Despite everything he’s been through, Mattie is incredibly loving. He adores laps; if you sit down, he sees that as an open invitation. When he’s not curled up in your lap, you might find him tucked away in a cozy crevice, decompressing and getting used to the comforts of indoor life again. He’s still adjusting, but every day he gets a little braver and a little more snuggly.
