About Reid
Start your journey together! Apply now. Drafted into the world on April 19, 2023, Reid got his name from the legendary KC Chiefs coach Andy Reid, and this young pup is looking to join the lineup of a fantastic forever home! Reid is a loving, sensitive, and snuggly boy whose favorite move is couch cuddles and neck naps—he will happily doze off on your shoulder as if it’s the coziest position around. Well-mannered and kennel-trained, Reid knows how to sit and is enthusiastically learning to wait and lie down, showing off his eagerness to pick up new skills. He gets along with some other dogs after slow and confidence-building introductions and considers the resident cat his teammate, calmly handling any feline attitude with grace. While Reid appreciates the company of adults, he finds children a little intimidating, so he’d do best in an adult-only home. For his comfort (and best potty habits), he needs a yard with a 6-foot fence and would benefit from a doggie door for easy outdoor access. Reid even comes with his own treasured emotional support toy. Reid experiences frequent urination. He is incredibly polite, going to the door to signal when he needs outside; if his cue is missed, accidents can happen, though regular yard access allows him to go days without an issue. His foster team has completed extensive testing, all of which came back normal—he simply needs someone who will keep up with his needs. Reid has attended a confidence-building training class and is making great progress. This little underdog is blossoming into a loyal, gentle, and affectionate companion who enjoys celebrating every day with close, loving snuggles. If you’re seeking a sweet, cuddly, and goofy pup ready to fill your home with warmth and laughter, Reid is the perfect teammate to have by your side. Fun fact: With an April 19th birthday, Reid is an Aries, often seen as bold, playful, and spirited—traits he displays every day! Adoption is the new adventure! Ready to roll?
