About Wally

Wally had a tough puppyhood before finding a safe place to land. Now about two years old, he's blossomed into an affectionate, 50-pound lovebug who’s fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and house trained. Wally asks for potty breaks with a soft bark or a gentle nudge at the back door. He’s as happy curled up on your lap as he is relaxing alone in his crate, chewing a bone. Once a scrappy survivor, Wally still has a bit of food aggression around other dogs, but never towards people—he’s fine with hands near his bowl. He’s lived peacefully with his foster sister, a massive Cane Corso, sharing water without issues (though meals are separate). His therapist side comes out with kids; he’s patient for dress-up, nail painting, and endless snuggles, making him a great choice for families. A single adopter would do just as well—Wally is adaptable and eager to bond. He loves car rides and is enthusiastic about walks, but could use some leash work, especially since he’s had a couple of front-door dashes (always returning, but still, quick on his feet). A fenced yard is mandatory for him. Wally’s adoption is partly sponsored, with $150 of his $350 fee covered by his foster family. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
