About Wally
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Meet Wally, a sweet and loving boy who overcame a difficult puppyhood to become an incredible companion. Now about two years old, Wally is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and house trained—he’ll even give silent barks or a gentle paw at the door when he needs a potty break. Weighing around 50lbs, he’s the perfect mix of affectionate lapdog and independent crate-sleeper with a chewy bone. Wally’s big heart shines with every interaction. He loves people dearly and will happily snuggle or entertain himself, adapting to whatever his family needs. Although he’s had some food aggression with other dogs—likely from his early experiences—he has no guarding issues with people around his food. He does well with a canine companion as long as they’re separated at mealtime, and enjoys sharing water and playtime. With children, Wally is especially patient and gentle; he’s been best friends with his foster’s five-year-old, allowing her to dress him up and snuggle to her heart’s content. He’d do great in a home with children or as the sole furry sidekick to a single adopter. While leash manners need a little work—he’s eager to sniff every scent—he loves car rides and is always ready for an adventure. A fenced-in yard is a must for Wally’s safety, as he’s quick to take off if given the chance. He thrives with space to run and play outdoors. As a bonus, Wally’s foster family will generously sponsor $150 of his $350 adoption fee. Born on January 20th, Wally is an Aquarius, which means he’s independent yet loving—a wonderful mix for any home. Ready to make his next home his forever one, Wally is waiting to meet you! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
