About Twinkie
Twinkie is a delightful mix of basset hound and bully breed, and she has a real gift for making herself at home. At 10 years old, Twinkie’s days revolve around cozy naps, leisurely walks, treats, squeaky toys, and the occasional car ride. Her foster says she’s a model guest: she’s house trained, does well when left alone, and will quickly claim a spot on the nearest couch for some solid snuggle time. Though arthritis slows her down a bit, Twinkie still manages to get around just fine. Avoiding too many stairs is best for her comfort, but otherwise she’s content to explore at her own pace. All her recent lab work came back excellent, and she’s current on vaccinations. Twinkie’s dog compatibility is still being sorted out, so she might thrive best as the only dog or with a slow introduction. She gets along well with children and just needs someone who wants to share snacks, love, and a gentle schedule with her. Twinkie’s ready for a retirement full of scritches and soft blankets.
