Meet Pippa! Pippa is a young girl who found herself on the run and landed in a bit of trouble before making her way to rescue. While her past may be a mystery, one thing is certain: this sweet pup is ready for a fresh start and a family to call her own. Pippa can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but once she warms up, she blossoms into a playful, affectionate little companion. She loves other dogs and gets along wonderfully with pups of all sizes, from tiny 7 lb Chihuahuas to big 70 lb Dobermans! Although the shelter labeled her as a “Chihuahua mix,” we think Pippa may actually be more of a houndy little mutt medley. Whatever her breed mix may be, she is absolutely adorable. Pippa is almost fully potty trained, though she still has the occasional accident as she adjusts to home life. She is also learning how to walk on leash and is very food motivated, which should make training a breeze. At the end of the day, Pippa’s favorite place to be is curled up beside her foster mom and dad on the couch or snoozing at the foot of the bed. Pippa is up to date on vaccines and preventatives and will be spayed before adoption.
