About Gigi
Your new best friend is just one click away. Gigi is an adorable husky/Akita mix who is friendly, playful, and deeply loyal to her people. About five years old, Gigi does best with other dogs; they help her feel secure and confident in new situations. Though she can be nervous or timid around new faces—especially men—she quickly warms up, especially with patience and a gentle introduction. Gigi is already house trained and crate trained, and knows her basic commands, making her an easy addition for a family looking for a dog ready to settle in. She’s an active girl who loves going for walks, romping in the snow, exploring the world, and chasing after small critters, so a fenced yard is important for her play and safety. She would thrive with an adopter who will continue to build her confidence and gently help her discover new places and experiences. Gigi is looking for a loving, patient forever home and is sure to reward her new family with endless affection, belly rubs, and companionship. She is currently in the care of Guardians of the Green Mile Inc, where all pets are fostered in homes by a dedicated rescue team. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
