Questions about Ghost
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Ghost, as a young Akita, will do best in a home with ample space and a securely fenced yard, ideally with someone experienced with the breed. Akitas like Ghost need structure, routine, and clear boundaries.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Akitas like Ghost thrive with regular access to a yard or outdoor area for exercise and stimulation, but shouldn't be left alone outside for long periods. A home with secure fencing is important for his safety given his prey drive.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Ghost would be best with children over 8 years old. While Akitas can be gentle and protective, their size and play style mean supervision and older kids are a safer match for Ghost.
