About Kiba

Kiba is a four-year-old Husky/mixed breed with a big personality and even bigger energy to match. He’s built strong and will need an equally strong human who knows how to handle large breeds—Husky experience is a real plus. True to form, Kiba is a vocal companion who likes to "talk" and absolutely demands to be noticed. Once you get into his circle of trust, he turns affectionate fast, always ready for a game of fetch or to beg for treats. He’s very food motivated and bonds quickly, but small children aren’t a good fit; he’s too much for them. Kiba doesn’t get along with cats, but he’s open to dogs, and meet-and-greets are welcome. Grooming will be part of your routine, since that striking medium-length coat sheds—expect some brushing sessions. His different-colored eyes do get attention, so don’t be surprised if strangers stop you. Kiba loves car rides but needs a seatbelt for safety. If you can provide structure, activity, and boundaries, Kiba will reward you with loyalty and playful companionship. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
