About Jake
Jake is about four years old and ready for his forever home. This big, handsome guy would do best with a fenced yard or someone confident handling larger dogs—he’s got strength, but he listens well. He’s open to meeting dogs his size and would do well around children eight and up. Crate training is down, and potty training is coming along. Jake had a stint as king of the surf shop while waiting out Tropical Storm Debby, winning folks over with his cheerful, easygoing manner. He strikes a sweet balance between silly, playful bursts and laid-back lounging, always happy to see a new face. Jake’s foster family says he brings positive energy to every day and is always ready to greet you with a smile. He’d love to join a family who can give him the space and attention he deserves.
