Kovu is a stunning 4-year-old German Shepherd / Husky mix with a heart as big as his 90-pound frame, and eyes that will absolutely melt your heart. This handsome boy was found wandering the streets after probably being hit by a car. He required hip surgery, but he’s shown incredible strength and resilience throughout his recovery. Despite everything he’s been through, Kovu’s spirit remains unbroken. He’s sweet, affectionate, and loves being around people. He’s also dog-friendly and enjoys the company of other friendly pups. Kovu needs to work on his basic obedience skills, and with a little guidance and structure, he’ll continue to blossom. Kovu would do best with an adopter who appreciates his size, strength, and gentle heart.
