Elwood is a three-year-old German Shepherd who doesn't let anything hold him back. Found roaming the streets, he's kept his big-hearted, goofy spirit, and you'd be hard-pressed to find a more entertaining companion. Elwood is large—about 90 pounds—and needs someone physically strong to match his energy. He's at his happiest when people talk to him in calm tones and give him gentle pets. Affectionate and eager to please, Elwood wags his short, unique tail with delight every time he gets attention. His favorite things include playing in water and chasing down any toy in sight. Currently in a kennel, Elwood is still learning to manage his feelings around other dogs, so a home where he's the only pet would suit him best right now.
