About Elroy
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Elroy is a brave little soul searching for a second chance. For nine wonderful years, he was the faithful companion to his elderly owner, living a life filled with love and comfort. When she passed, Elroy's world was turned upside down—left behind and forced to fend for himself, he roamed his old neighborhood for weeks, confused and heartbroken, before a kind person brought him to safety. Despite his ordeal, Elroy has bounced back with incredible resilience and now eagerly awaits a loving family at Furever Angels of Charlotte. At 9 years old, this small Mini Schnauzer is a delightful blend of spunky and sweet. Elroy is polite and loving, with a dignified charm that only adds to his appeal. Whether he’s playing with stuffed toys, chasing a favorite ball, or just relaxing near his person, his presence brings warmth and joy to any home. Fully housebroken and able to communicate when he needs to go out, Elroy has adapted wonderfully—even though he is deaf, nothing holds him back from expressing himself in the most adorable ways. He’s recently had dental surgery, but he still enjoys his meals as enthusiastically as ever, and his love of watching Columbo is endearing. Elroy has weathered more hardship than most dogs, yet his spirit remains loving and open. What he needs now is a safe, happy forever home that will give him all the companionship he deserves. If you're looking to welcome a remarkable and loyal friend into your home, Elroy may be just the one for you. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
